Hi, I'm Darla.

People often ask why I started a jewelry company.

The truth is, I didn't start with jewelry. I started with a season of my life that asked me to be braver than I ever thought I could be.

I had to make some difficult decisions, let go of what no longer fit, and learn to trust myself again. It wasn't easy, but looking back, those moments became the beginning of the life I was meant to build.

That's why the dragonfly means so much to me and is one of my favorite designs.

To me, it represents reinvention—the courage to begin again, even when it's scary. It reminds me that some of the most beautiful chapters of our lives begin the moment we decide to believe in ourselves.

The name Emerald Street Designs has a story, too. Emerald Street was the little street where I grew up, and it reminds me that sometimes the things that shape us most are where our story first begins.

So why jewelry?

Because I've always believed jewelry is personal. The pieces we wear become part of our story, and every time we put them on, we're reminded of who we are and how far we've come.

I created Emerald Street Designs for women who are finally learning to value their self worth—women who want to feel valued, confident, and completely themselves.

If my jewelry becomes a small reminder of your own strength and your own story, then it's done exactly what I hoped it would.
